Weekly Workout Recap

Hello there! How was your weekend? Mine was just what I needed: relaxing. After a fun weekend last weekend and a stressful week filled with exams and papers, I was ready for a weekend to catch up on some sleep, workout, and RELAX. And I did just that :). Friday I had dinner with friends for our usual weekly dinner date to catch up and once I got back the weather was still perfect for a run and I was feeling good, so I headed out for a 5.5 mile run. I haven't ran that distance in probably about a month so I was more than happy to get in a good run with no rain, no snow, no ice... but lots of puddles! Saturday morning I had some research to get done at the library so I headed straight there after breakfast and worked on some of the papers I have coming up. I spent the rest of the day working on homework, reading, and catching up on tv.

Monday (3/17) PM- 4.4 mile run
Tuesday (3/18) PM- 2.9 mile run
Wednesday (3/19) PM- 7.0 miles on stationary bike (2.3)*
Thursday (3/20) PM- 3.0 miles on elliptical, abs and legs 
Friday (3/21) PM- 5.5 mile run
Saturday (3/22) PM- 3.7 mile run
Sunday (3/23) PM- Yoga

Total mileage: 21.8 miles
*As part of Tone It Up I divide my bike mileage by 3

I am happy with the mileage I got in today and so excited for yoga tonight. I am ready to stretch and get ready for the week ahead.

  1. Wow, great mileage this week! I just posted my weekly recap as well. I'm in the final two weeks of uni right now and I know what you mean about needing some time to just focus on yourself. I can't wait to take a break from responsibility and have some me time.
