It’s been a while since I last posted a recipe, hasn’t it?! I talked all about how I was moving back home from school for the summer and would posts tons of recipes. Well… that never happened! I have been cooking up a ton of Tone It Up recipes that I haven’t come up with too many of my own lately. Since I was out of town this week and not able to pick up groceries for the week, I don’t have all of the ingredients for protein pancakes so I have had to come up with something different for breakfast. Time to bring back the overnight oats! Chocolate Protein Overnight Oats that is!
All ingredients minus the almond butter can be added into a jar with a lid that night prior to eating. Once everything is included, give it a quick stir, and place in the fridge for the night.
Wake up and open the fridge for breakfast! Add in a tablespoon of almond butter and additional almond milk if desired and eat up!
Yes, easy as that. I love overnight oats for early, on-the-go mornings or just lazy mornings when cooking breakfast is the last thing I want to do!
