Hi friends! Wishing you a happy Friday! This week has been a busy one, yet a manageable week. Classes are starting to lighten up in preparation for Thanksgiving break and I have been enjoying every minute of it. I worked my butt off last weekend to get through my research paper and now that it is done, minus some editing to be done, I am feeling SO good. With just two days of classes next week, I am certainly enjoying this lightened load.
I am looking forward to this weekend as the Spartans are playing Ohio State tomorrow, okay I am slightly freaking out for that game, but I am also headed to Ann Arbor for a Greek night tomorrow and I cannot wait. My friends and I have been texting about it non-stop all week and I am so pumped. Other than that, I am going to try to get ahead in some assignments I have coming up right after Thanksgiving break and spend some time relaxing too. I missed Scandal last night so that is also high on the list to do this weekend ;).
So technically this is a favorite from last week, but I could so go for it again. Bai was on sale so naturally I had to stock up since it has been a loooong time since I last had some. I love the flavor of Bai and that it has no artificial sweetners. I picked up a bunch of flavors, but really loved the Sumatra Dragonfruit flavor. (Has anyone acutally had a legit dragonfruit before?) I enjoyed it alongside a Kind bar I received after my half marathon and it was delicious. Why have I not tried the healthy grains bars before? So good.Snacking done right!
Pumpkin Pie Bubble Tea
Yesterday afternoon I met up with a friend to catch up at Bubble Island. We have been trying to get together over this whole semester and either of us have always had something going on. We finally had the chance to catch up over bubble tea of course and it was so nice. I tried the daily special, which was the pumpkin pie bubble tea, and it was delicious. I was a bit nervous of what it was going to taste like but it really did taste like pumpkin pie. It was cold chai tea with pumpkin pie spice, and black bubbles on the bottom. Totally a fan.
It has been forever since I have done this KettleToning workout and I forgot just how much I love it. I woke up Wednesday morning wanting a good workout, but nothing too intense and this was perfect. It is a mix of kettlebell moves, toning, and yoga. It is a perfect balance of all three and I love how energized I feel afterwards. I also realized just how out of shape I am with kettlebells since I only touched them once while I was training for my half marathon. Time to get back into kettlebell shape!
Some favorite posts from the week:
Garlic Herb Flatbread via Minimalist Baker (YES. YES. YES.)
Gift Guide for Runners under $25 via Run to the Finish (Hey Santa, you can buy me anything from this list)
40+ Podcasts to Listen to on Your Runs via Tina Muir (I love these podcasts! I’ve listened to many of them, but found some new ones to listen to as well!)
Hope you have a great weekend! Any Friendsgivings going on this weekend? I’m super bummed to be missing out on my friend’s Friendsgiving tomorrow, especially since it is all desserts!
Are you a fan of bubble tea?
I feel like you either hate it or you love it. I LOVE it.
Have you started to think about Christmas yet?
With no snow on the ground, it has been hard for me to even think about Christmas! I mean, it was in the sixties this week!
