Are you struggling to establish a morning routine that gets you up and moving in the morning? Check out these morning habits of fitness bloggers from around the web!
As many of my friends are aware of my early morning workouts I often get asked how I do these early morning workouts. I always try to give my best advice on how I do it, but everyone is so different that what works for one person may not work for the person standing next to them. So instead of always sharing the habits I have set for myself in the morning, I also try to share what I know others do in the morning to help them, in the hopes that one of these habits will stick.
Sooooo, I decided to reach out to fitness bloggers to see what their morning habits are. I thought I would have a handful to share, but I was blown away by the variety of morning habits that these fitness bloggers have that I just had to share more. Everything from alarm setting to pre-workout fuel to workout preparation is included. I hope you can find a few morning habits to try to pick up yourself.
I challenge you to try one of these morning habits this week. Just one. See how you feel come Friday. Did it stick or not? There is nothing to lose in trying to set one of these habits.

“I start my day with warm lemon water + 5 am workout. It’s my “me” time before I need to be mom and run my business” — Nicole of Nicole Culver Blog
“My morning habit actually happens at night: I get EVERYTHING ready the night before so I can essentially roll out of bed in the morning and my outfit plus what I need for the day is ready to go.” — Kayla of Kayla in the City
“I always am sure to do a couple of stretches right when I get out of bed even if I’m not working out – some simple twists and backbends since I’m stiff from sleeping!” — Lauren of Breathe Deeply and Smile
“Don’t wear your clothes to bed! Moving around putting them on will help you get into the workout mindset and get those juices flowing!” — Susie of Suzlyfe

“Find an exercise that makes you want to get up at 4:00 (like me), and that you don’t dread. Also – ease yourself into it! Don’t go from going to bed at 2:00 AM and waking up at 6:45 AM to waking up at 3:30- give your body time.” — Danielle of The Kitchen of Danielle
“My morning habit is to HYDRATE! Lots of water, first thing in the morning!” — Liz of I Heart Vegetables
“I put my phone across the room and set an alarm so I have to get out of bed and turn it off. Actually getting out of bed is the hardest part for me, so by having my alarm across to the room solves this problem! I also bribe myself by getting a coffee from my favorite coffee shop at work if I work out in the morning, and that the ONLY way that I get to buy a coffee now. It works!” — Gretchen of Gretch Runs
“I always eat a little something. Whether I’m working out at 5 am or 10 am I always make sure I’ve got some fuel in the tank to avoid getting cranky or burning out quicker. Grabbing a banana on the way out the door is an easy fix.” — Cayanne of Healthyezsweet Life
“Wake up at least 45 minutes before I have to teach or move because I need to mentally prepare to be energetic. That extra time sipping my coffee is EVERYTHING. It’s like the calm before the storm” — Rachel of A Healthful Heart
