The temperatures are cooling off, which means it is the perfect time to warm up with this dairy free Chai Hot Chocolate!
It’s November first.
You know what that means, right?
It is the holiday season.?
I have a feeling when I turn on the radio there is going to be Christmas music playing, there is going to be a lot of talk about Black Friday, and Christmas movies are going to start popping up on TV.
Oh wait, they already did ?
I was flipping through channels on Sunday to find something to watch while I ate lunch and guess what was on.
No joke. I had to turn it on because who does not love Elf? I am sure even if it was on in July I would still put it on.
I love getting into the holiday spirit, even though November first always seems just a bit too early to me. When I was in college I never really got into the holiday spirit until pretty close to Christmas since I was always stressed over finals leading up to Christmas.
I think this year will kind of be the same. I know I will have a few final papers/ projects due for my grad school classes and the school I am interning at does not get out until December 23rd. DECEMBER 23rd.
Crazy I know.
It is always hard to get into the holiday spirit when you have a bunch of work still left to do, but I am going to soak up even the small holiday things between now and Christmas – a cup of holiday flavored tea, Black Friday shopping, Christmas gatherings.
Including this Chai Hot Chocolate.
I was unsure how the flavors of classic hot cocoa and chai tea would be together but I LOVED how this turned out. I felt like I had a mug of warmth on a rather cool afternoon. It is the perfect sip and something I could definitely enjoy to get in the holiday spirit.
You with me? Awesome. Because I know you will love this warm cup of homemade hot chocolate with chai flavors 🙂
