I workout daily. I eat greens daily. I do what I can to make sure that I am living a healthy and active lifestyle every day.
But there is always more that can be done, right? Social media sure seems to make us feel that way! It seems like there is always a new powder supplement to try or a new studio workout facility to join. Sure I sometimes feel a pressure to try everything I see when I scroll through Instagram, but more often than not I don’t feel that pressure. I don’t feel the pressure to shell out $50 for a miracle face cream or $10 on a smoothie. I know that I am doing what I can and it just so happens to be working for me. Yeah I would love to try all those new workout boutique studios and get a smoothie with all the supplements under the sun, but I am realistic. I know that if I do what I can, it will work for me.
I recently had the opportunity to try out Babbleboxx’s latest box. I was excited to try out some new products that help me lead a healthy lifestyle that is realistic. Some of these products can be found in the grocery store down the street from me and some can easily be ordered through the internet. They are worth the money you put into them, and they help lead a healthy and active lifestyle. I was excited to try these products out AND to share them with you because I think you will like some of the new products that are rolling out that are accessible to you.
Healthy Choice Power Bowls
I am not going to lie, I was a little meh when I saw these power bowls. Sure “power bowls” sounded awesome, but I was a little nervous to check the ingredient list on the power bowl. I was a bit apprehensive because frozen foods can have ingredient lists a mile long filled with ingredients I do not always feel comfortable putting in my body. BUT, when I saw the ingredient list for the Healthy Choice Adobo Chicken Bowl, I was shocked — such a good ingredient list that I would have no problem eating! Recognizable ingredients and over 16 grams of protein and all natural meat ingredients. I finally found a frozen meal that not only tastes good, but that I can feel comfortable eating.

I was so excited to see the 23andMe box inside the Babbleboxx. I have always been interested in trying out an ancestry kit, especially since my family and I have been looking into our ancestry a lot over the past couple of months. I am interested to see where my DNA comes from around the world and see an ancestry timeline. And the best part? It is so simple to do! You provide a saliva sample into the kit, you then mail the kit back to the lab, and find out a breakdown of your ancestral origins. I have to wait a couple weeks to get the results from mine, but I am interested in learning more about my ancestry.

Arm & Hammer Toothpaste
You know when I said I was sharing accessible and realistic products for your health today? Yup, this is exactly what I am talking about! Arm & Hammer toothpaste helps maintain healthy gums by cleaning deep between teeth and along the gum line with the gentle use of baking soda in the toothpaste.

Mio SLICE Heart Rate & Activity Tracker featuring PAI
I am finally one of those activity tracker wearing girls. And I have no shame in it! Actually everyone in my family has one now and we love seeing how many steps we each get throughout the day. The Mio SLICE Heart Rate & Activity Tracker featuring PAI was the first thing I cracked open in the Babbleboxx. I was curious as to how many steps I take in a day, but I quickly realized the Mio SLICE has a ton more features than just counting your daily steps. The activity tracker features PAI, which is a scientifically-validated metric based on your heart rate that tells you how much activity you need to live a longer, healthier life. The ideal goal is to maintain a PAI score of 100 or more over a rolling 7 days. I get most of my score from running, but you can get it from activities that do not involve steps, like biking, rowing, and fitness classes.
The MIO Slice also tracks your heart rate continuously and offers sleep tracking. You can also connect it your phone to get smartphone notifications, which is a feature I did not think I would enjoy as much as I have!
