Hi guys! I am sooooo excited to be partnering with Vital Proteins for today’s post. I have been taking collagen daily for the past couple of months and love how easy it is to supplement into my lifestyle. I wrote a whole post on why I decided to start using collagen and even got my mom on board with it. She likes it in her protein drink and now takes it daily too. My go-to way to take collagen is in my post-workout drink. I put about 12 oz of water with an electrolyte powder and a scoop of collagen into a blender bottle, shake it all up, and drink it. It is SO perfect, especially in the summer heat!
As much as I love my post-workout drink, sometimes I want to switch it up. I can’t always do the same thing every single day, so I want something a bit different.
So that is where this Cocoa Coconut Frozen Cold Brew comes in.
When I am craving something cold in the morning (all summer long), I turn to my beloved cold brew coffee. Every morning I drink a cup of iced coffee, so I decided to start adding in a couple of ingredients, blending it all up, and drinking it as a frozen drink. I added in Vital Proteins Cocoa & Coconut Water Collagen Whey, vanilla extract, coconut milk, and ice to create this frozen drink.
Not only am I getting in my daily collagen, but I am also starting my morning off with PROTEIN. Which is perfect now that I am on summer break and running in the morning. Coming back from my morning run to sip on this… YES PLEASEEEE!Vital Proteins Cocoa & Coconut Water Collagen Whey uses an advanced protein utilization formula to provide 27 grams of protein in one serving (two scoops). The natural hyaluronic acid also provides for joint support, which is perfect for me post-run.

- Do you add collagen into anything? What do you add it to?
I’ve only added collagen into my drinks (like coffee and electolyte drinks), but would love to start adding it food, like baked goods… give me some tips! 🙂
